How to reach K.U.Leuven

Train connections to and from Leuven:

  • IC K: Gent -Aalst -Denderleeuw -Brussels -Leuven -Tienen -Landen -Sint -Truiden -Hasselt -Genk
  • IR a: Leuven -Mechelen -Antwerpen of Mechelen -Sint-Niklaas
  • L train: Leuven -Ottignies
  • L train: Leuven -Sint-Joris-Weert
  • L train: Leuven -Tienen -Landen -Borgworm -Ans -Luik
  • L train: Leuven -Brussels -Geraardsbergen
  • L train: Leuven -Aarschot -Lier -Antwerpen
From Brussels (Leuven - Brussels = 20 minutes of travelling) there are train connections to most of Belgian cities; there are different international connections.

European National Railways and Timetables.

The railway station is situated at 1 km of the City centre. Most college buildings in the centre of the city are situated at an acceptable walking distance from the railway station (max. 2 km); most of the bus connections in and around Leuven have a stop at the railway station and pass through the City centre. For transportation from the railway station to the Campus of Arenberg it is advised to make use of bus connection 2. For transportations by bus to the Campus of Gasthuisberg you can use connection 14.
